The preparations have begun!

DECEMBER, 24 2017

ACrossMission through our regional coordinator and our Tanzanian office in Musoma has been preparing Christmas Outreach Meals.

These Christmas Meals give our pastors and congregations the opportunity to live Christian Love. God’s Love, especially for the disadvantaged, orphans, widowed and poor in the community, is reflected in our prayers and caring. These acts also reinforce in Christians, Jesus’ loving nature. Jesus stepped into human history, born in a manger, an act of sacrificial love and service. Jesus' ministry was punctuated with object lessons to teach that His followers must love and serve all. Jesus bore the Cross - at its root was His love for all people. Likewise, these meals teach Christians to have the mindset of Jesus; to serve others rather than to be served; to place the needs of others ahead of our own.

Our Christians are poor, yet they will serve the poorer; they are hungry, yet will serve the hungrier.

 "And look out for one another’s interests, not just for your own.

The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had”

Philippians 2

"For even the Son of Man didn’t come to be served;

He came to serve and give His life to redeem many people."

Mark 10

ACrossMission will be supporting 12 ministries including Nyabange Leprosy Camp (the first delivery of food pictured above); all of them are located in Mara region in the Northwest of Tanzania along the shore of Lake Victoria.

On behalf of each pastor and congregation let me thank each of you for partnering with us to shine the Light of the World into the darkness of poverty, despair and persecution.

We wish you a blessed Christmas!
